Train the Trainers

1. Modernizarea activității didactice în disciplină și în țară prin aplicarea principiilor de educare a adultului promovate de Organizația Mondială de Gastroenterologie. În perioada în care am fost Președintele Societății Române de Gastroenterologie și Hepatologie am reușit să ofer oportunitatea de a fi instruiți în acest domeniu cadrelor didactice din toate centrele din țară prin organizarea unui curs „Train the Trainers” împreună cu Organizația Mondială de Gastroenterologie.

2. Un al doilea curs mai scurt l-am organizat cu același sprijin la Iași, în 2023, cu ocazia Congresului Național de Gastroenterologie, Hepatologie și Endoscopie Digestivă al cărui Președinte am fost (Train the Trainers teaser).

The WGO Train the Trainers Program

Developed by WGO in 2001, this workshop concentrates on expanding the educational skills of educators in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, and Gl surgery, who are responsible for teaching, through the use of current educational techniques and philosophies.
A maximum number of 50 participants (25 from local host country and 25 additional, with two max from other country/member societies) are accepted for each course. This enables an intimate group of participants and faculty from across the globe to engage in an intensive and interactive workshop, characterized by numerous hands-on sessions with ample opportunity for discussion.
Since 2001, WGO has held over 25 TTT Workshops in 18 different countries with over 1000 participants from more than 90 countries.
Participants are also required to engage actively in all sessions and social functions; hence they are required to attend the workshop each day.
